Adrian Martin - MAS Advisor
Adrian’s role involves liaising with manufacturers in the region and performing Manufacturing Reviews on a face-to-face basis to identify areas for business improvement. Using his wide experience in the manufacturing sector, he analyses process and creates detailed reports that structure a plan for moving forward. The final part of his role is helping companies find consultants to support them and ensure that project are eligible for grant funding. Adrian's priority counties are Leicestershire and Rutland.
Adrian started working at PERA in March 2008. He is an experienced Lean Practitioner that has been the Direct
or of his own company. He has worked in a variety of industries (aerospace, automotive, construction equipment and supplies) with some major blue chip companies (Eaton, Terex, etc) and has had great success wherever he has gone.
He has successfully run consultancy projects with Formula 1 teams, power generation companies, aerospace companies, x listed military supply companies and Rail Companies plus other industries.
Adrian is fully conversant with Lean, Six Sigma and the Theory of Constraints tools processes and mindsets necessary for the successful implementation of these.
He has been trained in lean and six sigma techniques by the Eaton University in Holland and Germany while working for their aerospace division.
Adrian has also been further trained at Cranfield University and is a Fellow of the University.
